Welcome to the Village Hall
Bilbrough’s cherished village hall offers the perfect space for private and public functions of up to 100 people, and is available for hire throughout the year.
The Hall provides facilities to support a wide range of activities from children's parties and grown-up gatherings to formal meetings and fitness classes. Check out the facilities and book now!

Update: Hall hire rate changes
Please note that the hourly rate for hiring the Village Hall will increase from 1st August. The new charges are:
Regular users (i.e. weekly bookings): £12 per hour.
Standard users (i.e. infrequent / ad hoc users): £15 per hour.
The small increases are necessary to help us manage rising energy and maintenance costs, and to ensure the hall remains a warm, safe, and welcoming space for all our users.
We understand the importance of affordability for our regular groups and have kept this increase as minimal as possible. We truly value your continued support and the vital role you play in keeping the hall an active and vibrant part of the community.
VILLAGE NEWS AND EVENTS
THIRSTY FRIDAYS AT THE VILLAGE HALL
Following the success of the first two Thirsty Fridays in July and August, we're aiming to make this a regular event so please let us have any suggestions that would help make it a fixture in your social calendar.
Please note that there will be no Thirsty Friday in September owing to prior Friday bookings. But we'll be back with a broom and a vengeance in October for a Halloween night special. Watch this space for details.
We're always looking for volunteers to help set up and run the bar on these occasions, so don't be scared to put your hand up!
Got any bright ideas for the Hall?
The North Yorkshire Council's Inspire fund provides up to £1000 to support any new ideas and projects which benefit local communities. Our NYCC representative Tom outlines the proposal here. So if you have any bright ideas for activities that could be staged at the village hall - whether it's for a one-off or a series of events - please drop a line to bilbroughvh@gmail.com
